Hollywood, CA (The Hollywood Times) 10/27/16 – “my star number is 2,438, and the company I share my star with is Errol Flynn and Peter Falk and I would say that is great company.” Joe Mantegna told The Hollywood Times at The Hollywood Walk of Fame Honors Red Carpet event at the Taglyan Complex in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Hollywood Walk of Fame Honors was filmed as a first-ever television event for the CW Network (to air on November 23 Mark your calendars!).  The inaugural event featured special celebrity tribute dinner, with special presentations, honoring the legendary legacy of the iconic stars who are on the world famous Hollywood Walk of Fame.  The event also celebrated the Hollywood Historic Trust and its efforts to promote and protect the Walk of Fame.

Hosted by Joe Mantegna and Gia Mantegna, those scheduled to appear include Chuck Norris, Dean Cain, Deidre Hall, Eric Roberts, Gabrielle Ruiz, Jeff Dunham, Justin Baldoni, Louis Gossett, Jr., Mike Tyson, Montel Williams; with special performances by:  BC Jean, Daughtry, Candice Glover, Pia Toscano, Michael Bolton, Penn and Teller and David Foster. The 84th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade on The CW

Hollywood, CA (The Hollywood Times) 8/12/15 – I’m just a humble media observer. But, one fact seem incontrovertible; parades make for bad Television. Even good parades. With this low bar in mind, The CW broadcast The 84th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade (Toys for Tots) in its entirety on a chilly Hollywood Friday night. Joan Rivers Dies at Age 81

Hollywood, CA (The Hollywood Times) 9/04/14 – Joan Alexandra Molinksy, better known by her stage name of Joan Rivers, passed away this afternoon at Mount Sinai Hospital. “It is with great sadness that I announce the death of my mother, Joan Rivers,” said her daughter Melissa. “She passed peacefully at 1:17 p.m. surrounded by family and close friends. My son and I would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Mount Sinai Hospital for the amazing care they provided for my mother.”

Hollywood, CA (The Hollywood Times) 9/04/14 – Joan Alexandra Molinksy, better known by her stage name of Joan Rivers, passed away this afternoon at Mount Sinai Hospital.  “It is with great sadness that I announce the death of my mother, Joan Rivers,” said her daughter, Melissa.  “She passed peacefully at 1:17 p.m. surrounded by family and close friends. My son and I would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Mount Sinai Hospital for the amazing care they provided for my mother.”
Melissa went on to say, “Cooper and I have found ourselves humbled by the outpouring of love, support, and prayers we have received from around the world. They have been heard and appreciated.  My mother’s greatest joy in life was to make people laugh. Although that is difficult to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we return to laughing soon.”
