(May 31, 2016) – On June 10 at 12 p.m., one lucky rock star hopeful’s dream will come true, when Paul Stanley, KISS front man and Rock & Brews co-founder, selects the winner of the Rock & Roll Fantasy Camp spot at Rock & Brews Buena Park. The promotion, in partnership with Rock & Brews restaurants nationwide, offers one lucky winner a spot at the Rock & Roll Fantasy Camp in Hollywood, June 23-26.

During the camp, attendees will be placed in bands led by rock star counselors such as Rudy Sarzo of Quiet Riot and Vinnie Appice of Black Sabbath.  For the headline event, attendees will perform with Stanley and Don Felder, formerly of the Eagles, in front of a live audience at the Whisky a Go Go in West Hollywood.

Stanley will be selecting the winner and taking photos with fans at Rock & Brews Buena Park from 12-1 p.m. on June 10. Johnny Depp Gives Gift Of Hearing With Hollywood Vampires In Portugal

Starkey Hearing Foundation welcomed Hollywood Vampires prior to their Rock in Rio Lisboa concert to a hearing health care mission to meet and inspire 30 patients in Lisbon, Portugal.

The band first supported a hearing mission in Rio de Janeiro where they witnessed people hearing for the first time. Because of that meaningful experience, they wanted to help patients at another mission.

More than 30 patients with hearing loss were fit with hearing devices by William F. “Bill” Austin and Tani Austin, founders of Starkey Hearing Foundation. They were joined by the Hollywood Vampires:

Giving a person the ability to hear has an immediate inspiring impact on that person’s quality of life and a compounding positive effect on the world. Hearing empowers people to reach their full potential and creates a future filled with possibilities. Many were able to hear for the first time, to experience the joy of music and to live more independently as a result of their new found connection to the world.

“When you come to do these big concerts, you think that the concert is going to be the high point of the trip, but it isn’t, this is. The mission was the high point because these people are hearing for the first time. That’s amazing that hearing is going to last the rest of their life,” said Alice Cooper.

Starkey Hearing Foundation with their partner, GAES Solidaria, provided hearing devices as well as counseling and training to patients and family members on how to care and operate their hearing device.

“It was another good day of people coming together to discover our humanity through caring. We had another great adventure with the Hollywood Vampires, and we appreciate their support,” said Bill Austin, founder, Starkey Hearing Foundation.

In this documentary-style film, Josh meets Marine Sergeant Ben Tomlinson at his specially designed smart-home in Jacksonville, Alabama, to speak with
Ben and his family about their journey and the positive impact this home has had on his life. On his second tour of duty Ben was shot by enemy fire while providing rooftop security for his team. As a result, Ben was paralyzed with limited mobility below his chest.

Duhamel’s connection to the military began a long time ago. He grew up near an Air Force base in North Dakota, has an aunt who completed a number of tours with the National Guard and his grandfather was a proud Marine. In fact, Josh’s emotional visit with Ben and his family took place just after his grandfather was honored in a military funeral service.

The Beginning Of Life: A Movie About A New Beginning For Humanity

The Beginning of Life, a groundbreaking feature documentary that explores the impact of a child’s early environment on their cognitive, social and emotional development, will be released worldwide on Netflix, iTunes and Google Play on 1 June 2016.

The film, supported by UNICEF and featuring supermodelGisele Bündchen and Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences winner James Heckman, is the brainchild of Director Estela Renner (Way Beyond Weight) and was produced by Brazil-based Maria Farinha Filmes.

The 90-minute feature documentary was created in response to advancements in neuroscience that uncover the crucial role that the early years of children’s lives play in determining their futures successes.

Filmed across Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Italy, Kenya and the United States, The Beginning of Life documents the early lives of children and their families; and features interviews with specialists from the early childhood development arena.

“Effective early childhood development takes place when children feel nurtured, cared for, protected and loved. When children receive all of these key elements in their formative years of life, they have the best possible chance of developing fully,”UNICEF Chief of Early Childhood Development Pia Britto said.

“This beautiful film, which we are so proud to support, depicts how social environments are as important as genetics in influencing children’s development. The evidence should compel governments and policy-makers to act now and prioritize investment in the earliest years of children’s lives – from parenting to care and early learning programmes for all children,” Britto said.

The families starred in the film are from a range of cultural, ethnic and social backgrounds, including supermodel Gisele Bündchen in Brazil, and Phula, a girl who cares for her siblings by herself in India. Maternity leave, the role of fathers, co-parenting, poverty, child rights, violence and neglect are explored throughout the film, providing a unique basis and understanding of early childhood development.

“Emotional recollections for both good and evil have a much greater weight during this period, which is a time of formation, creation and structuring of individuals,” said film director Estela Renner.

In a testimony in the film, Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences winner James Heckman said “taking proper care of our babies is the best investment that can be made in humanity”.

In addition to UNICEF, the film is also supported by Maria Cecília Souto Vidigal Foundation, Bernard Van Leer Foundation and Alana Institute. It is dubbed in six languages and subtitled in 21 languages.

Look to the shelves of your local Barnes & Noble or the top science fiction lists on Amazon to see stories with male protagonists catering to male readers. That’s why, when talking to my doctor, a woman doctor, about my newly released book, I was surprised about how the conversation went.

It was a melancholic look back at life, sung by a young singer/songwriter who had not yet lived it. The singer was Dean Ford (Born Thomas McAleese). The Marmalade made their splash and suffered the fate of many entrants into the 60’s sweepstakes. They had a couple of hits and faded into history, only to return sporadically on oldies radio, the odd soundtrack or the occasional K-Tel compilation.

Tonight in the U.S., Julia Roberts, Will Ferrell, Elton John and over 65 stars are coming together to have fun, raise money and change lives on “The Red Nose Day Special,” airing May 26th on NBC.

The star-studded event will be hosted by Craig Ferguson and features comedy, music and more.

He will reveal what life is like for Felix today after being helped by a program that aims to change the lives of homeless kids.

Music will also take centre stage, with both Elton John and Blake Shelton performing very special songs, while Paul Shaffer will bring his signature brand of great music and high energy as musical director with the Red Nose Orchestra.

Football Legend Pelé To Be Guest Of Honor At Soccer Aid

I’m sure you probably recognize the lyrics ? This haunting lullaby like tune was performed by James Blunt to a purely riveted audience in a theatre full of beautiful and diverse LGBT members and supporters. I believe this message was the epitome of this extraordinary evening. It was for me at least.

It really was an honor to attend the Los Angeles LGBT Center for An Evening with Women at the Hollywood Palladium. The annual gala featured musical performances by Macy Gray , James Blunt and Tal Wakenfeld along with a stand-up routine by the hilarious comedian Fortune Feimster.

Actress, model and the daughter of the “original hipsters” Brooklyn Decker, made the rounds yesterday promoting the new season of her hit Netflix show “Grace and Frankie”. Brooklyn’s longtime makeup artist, Tracy Murphy shares how to get the sexy, smoky ‘un-done’ look for her appearance last night on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”.

Tracy started by prepping the skin with Mario Badescu’s Rose Water Facial Spray and Clarks Botanicals Moisture Mask. Next, she applied Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation in color 123 and Shiseido Bronzer to warm her face up.

But when Jake hires a day laborer to help repair their deck, he puts everything at risk – including their value system.

• Sunday, June 12 at 1 p.m.: ‘The King of Hell’s Palace’ by Frances Cowhig, directed by Tea Alagic (work in progress).
