Emmy Award-Winning Writer, Producer, and Director Ryan Murphy and the Legendary Barbra Streisand joined in conversation for the PaleyFest Icon Tribute to Ms. Streisand, Marking the First Time She Will Be Honored for Her Body of Work in Television last night at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Supernatural and Scooby-Doo Team Up for the Ultimate Mystery Mash-Up

Adding to the excitement, the Paley Center will live stream from select conversations through the official Paley Center Facebook page. The selected conversations include: The Handmaid’s Tale (March 18 at  2:25 pm PT), Supernatural (March 20 at 7:35 pm PT); The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon (March 21 at 7:44 pm PT); The Good Doctor (March 22 at 8:22 pm PT); Mom (March 24 at 2:30 pm PT); Queen Sugar (March 24 at 7:30 pm PT); Riverdale (March 25 at 2:50 pm PT); and Stranger Things (March 25 at 7:30 pm PT). Celebrating thirty-five years as the premier television Festival, PaleyFest LA will take place at the iconic DOLBY Theatre in Hollywood, giving fans access to special screenings, exclusive conversations, and behind-the-scenes scoops and breaking news from the stars and creative minds behind their favorite shows. The lineup of shows also includes FOX’s The Orville, NBC’s Will & Grace, and HBO’s Silicon Valley.

In celebration of this exciting mash-up episodic event, “The Mystery Machine” and “Baby” will be parked just steps away from the DOLBY Theatre in the Hollywood & Highland center court, on March 20, from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm; retailer Hot Topic will release an exclusive collection of Scoobynatural merchandise; and to top it off, Scooby-Doo himself will stop by from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. 

The Festival benefits the Paley Center’s preservation and archival digitization efforts, and its ongoing mission to explore the importance and impact of media on society. The Paley Center is home to the nation’s foremost publicly accessible archives of television and radio content, over 160,000 programs spanning the history of media including the recently launched African-American, Hispanic, LGBT, and Women’s collections.

Emmy Award Winner Stephen Colbert, Host of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” Will Host for the First Time

Some of the biggest stars from television will take the stage to present at the 69TH PRIMETIME EMMY® AWARDS, to be broadcast LIVE from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, Sunday, Sept. 17 (8:00-11:00 PM, live ET/5:00-8:00 PM live PT) on the CBS Television Network. Set to present are Riz Ahmed, Anthony Anderson, Alec Baldwin, Jason Bateman, Jessica Biel, Edie Falco, Anna Faris, Allison Janney, Rashida Jones, Nicole Kidman, Debra Messing, Lea Michele, Shemar Moore, Kumail Nanjiani, Jim Parsons, Tracee Ellis Ross, Adam Scott, Oprah Winfrey and Reese Witherspoon. More presenters will be announced at a later date.

As previously announced, Emmy Award winner Stephen Colbert, the multi-talented host of THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT, is set to host, marking his first time as master of ceremonies for the event.
